The first season of Marvel’s MMO-shooter game offers a wealth of fresh material, but developers have hinted that subsequent seasons may not be as densely packed with new content.
The debut of Marvel Rivals‘ Season 1 brought forth a host of fresh characters, maps, and numerous additional features to their popular shooter game.
Season 1 of the Marvel Rivals game launched with an array of new characters, maps, and plenty more exciting additions for its hit shooter.
On the other hand, NetEase, the creator of the game, has clarified that future seasons will not feature the same volume of content as Season 1.
In a recent video uploaded on January 7th, Creative Director Guangguang and Lead Combat Designer Zhiyong not only shared a closer look at what we can anticipate for the upcoming season, but also confessed that this season promises twice as much content as future seasons.
Telling fans to see Season 1 as a “two-in-one”, Guangguang said:
During our brainstorming sessions, we unanimously agreed that bringing them into Marvel Rivals in one giant-sized season was the way to go.
It’s only logical that the amount of fresh content, such as 5 new heroes, new game modes, and additional content introduced in Season 1, may not be replicated in future seasons due to their scale.
Are you already playing Marvel Rivals Season 1? What are you expecting from upcoming seasons?
