Marvel Rivals 2025 roadmap – leaks and when new seasons are expected to start

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can confidently say that Marvel Rivals has quickly become one of the most exciting additions to my gaming library. The pre-season has been a thrilling ride, and I eagerly anticipate what 2025 has in store for us!

2024 saw the release of Marvel Rivals towards the end, and it has already gained significant popularity as one of the top hero shooter games out there. It’s an enjoyable experience, with even greater things on the horizon, as we’re currently in the pre-season. Although NetEase hasn’t officially revealed their plans for the next 12 months, we have put together a Marvel Rivals 2025 Roadmap, offering insights into when new seasons might begin and discussing potential game leaks.

Prior to the commencement of Season 1, it’s essential to understand that Chrono Tokens won’t transfer over, and they won’t carry over between seasons either. Moreover, NetEase has promised fans a lasting fix for mouse acceleration problems, which will enhance aiming in Season 1 significantly.

2025’s Marvel Rivals roadmap will get underway with Season 1 in the upcoming year, promising an exhilarating 12-month journey based on recent hints.

Marvel Rivals 2025 roadmap

The initial phase of the Marvel Rivals 2025 plan kicks off with Season 1 commencing in early January 2025, according to the game’s creative director, Guangguang. However, an exact date for the launch has not been disclosed as yet.

Season 1 serves as a fundamental structure upon which all subsequent seasons will build. Each succeeding season promises to introduce fresh characters, locations, collaborative skills, and potentially innovative gameplay modes.

According to the creative director, each season will approximately span over a period of three months. Therefore, the 2025 plan should be structured accordingly, with each segment representing a three-month stretch.

  • Season 1 – early January
  • Season 2 – April
  • Season 3 – July
  • Season 4 – October
  • Season 5 – January 2026

Although each chapter is currently projected to span three months, it’s important to note that this timeline might be flexible due to potential delays or changes in plans. At present, we only have confirmation for Season 1 starting in January. The given roadmap represents our expectations based on the creative director’s comments in the Dev Vision Vol.1 preview, but keep in mind that things may shift as production progresses.
