Lionsgate has officially revealed the release date for “Flight Risk” in 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD formats, marking the return to directing for Mel Gibson following nearly a decade since his last directorial work on Andrew Garfield’s war drama, Hacksaw Ridge. The movie, led by Mark Wahlberg, has garnered a Popcornmeter rating of 62% on Rotten Tomatoes since its cinema premiere in January.
In this nerve-wracking action-packed drama, Wahlberg takes on the role of a pilot escorting an Air Marshal and a fugitive to court through the treacherous Alaskan wilderness. As they travel, relationships become strained and trust is questioned as it’s revealed that not all passengers are who they appear to be.
When is the Flight Risk 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release date?
Starting from April 1st, I’ll be able to grab the high-definition version of Flight Risk! It will be available exclusively on Amazon for $34.99 as a SteelBook 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and Digital Combo Pack, or for $42.99 without the SteelBook. If you prefer other formats, it’ll also be available in 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and Digital for the same price, or on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital for $39.99, and even just on DVD for $29.96. The movie stars Mark Wahlberg, but you might recognize That ’70s Show’s Topher Grace as Winston, the witness, and Michelle Dockery from Downton Abbey as FBI agent Madelyn Harris.

The movie titled “Flight Risk” was steered by Mel Gibson, who also penned the script alongside Jared Rosenberg. This gripping thriller marks the reunion of Gibson and Wahlberg, following their past projects such as Daddy’s Home 2 and Father Stu. In the production process, Alex Lebovici, Jenny Hinkey, Ryan D. Smith, Natasha Stassen, Allen Cheney, Christopher Woodrow, K. Blaine Johnston, Christian Mercuri, Petr Jákl, Vicki Christianson, Nick Guerra, Russell Hollander, Jon Huddle, Patrick Josten, Walter Josten, and Jordan Wagner served as executive producers. Gibson, John Davis, John Fox, and Bruce Davey took on the roles of producers for this project. The film is a collaboration between Davis Entertainment and Icon Productions.
