What else do we know about the Victorian Psycho movie?

In Victorian-era England, the story unfolds as a peculiar governess makes her way to a secluded, gloomy mansion. There, mysterious occurrences raise doubts about whether she is truly who she claims to be.

The book goes on to explain that Winifred Notty, pretending to be an exemplary governess, will teach her charges, Drusilla and Andrew, and even amuse them with jokes about eating children. However, the monotonous days spent within the estate’s gloomy surroundings reveal the Pounds family’s perverse behaviors and Mrs. Pounds’ morbid delight in punishing Winifred for Mr. Pounds’ wandering gaze. As she despises the arrogant Pounds children, Winifred battles to suppress her violent impulses from the past. French lessons and embroidery help pass the time, as does appreciating the grotesque paintings in the gallery…and sneaking across the moonlit lawns…Winifred must exercise patience, for Christmas is approaching, and she has unique gifts prepared for the inhabitants of Ensor House.

In the year 2024, Qualley appeared in Ethan Coen’s film Drive-Away Dolls, Yorgos Lanthimos’ project Kinds of Kindness, and Coralie Fargeat’s movie The Substance.
