Recently, during an interview with Galatta Plus, Unni Mukundan defended the portrayal of violence in the film Marco. He highlighted that the violent scenes depicted in the movie are minimal compared to the daily reality of violence in our surrounding society.

He stated, “Marco displays only a tenth of the violence found within our society. Violence has been a significant aspect of human development throughout history. We’ve achieved peace through conflicts. Fundamentally, survival is our primary objective. I’m not advocating for portraying violence on screen, but it’s important to acknowledge that violence is indeed prevalent in our society.
