Actor Unni Mukundan has been thriving following the enormous success of his film “Marco”. Currently, he is gearing up for a fresh role, this time taking on the task of directing movies.
On his social media platform, Unni Mukundan recently shared an update about his upcoming venture – he’ll be directing a film, specifically a superhero movie. Accompanying the announcement, the actor posted a picture of himself standing before his extensive collection of action figures, expressing his excitement in a caption.
Growing up, I held onto childhood wonder, nurtured by tales of bravery, selflessness, and enchantment. My heroes weren’t confined to books, films, folklore, or miniature figurines; they lived in my dreams too. In an age dominated by superheroes, sometimes seen as unrealistic or fictional, I found myself frequently lost in daydreams.
To put it simply, these SuperHeroes embodied moving hope for me. They made me feel as if I too could be a hero. The bravery they displayed was reflected in my dreams. In essence, the child within me never truly matured.
Above all, he persistently held onto his dreams. Now, with quiet pride, he moves forward to share a tale that’s been close to him for years. Indeed, I am embarking on directing my first feature film, crafting a superhero narrative – one that’s uniquely mine.
In his speech, Unni Mukundan emphasized that the foundation of his dream was laid with affection, curiosity, and all those things that used to inspire him to gaze at the sky and hold onto hope. The movie is rumored to be jointly funded by Gokulam Gopalan, with Aadu director Midhun Manuel Thomas writing the script.
To summarize, the actor mentioned that the movie’s filming won’t start until next year because the pre-production phase is currently ongoing. Currently, he is tied up with a Telugu project.

The film guides us through the story of the influential Adattu crime family, and how harming one of its members serves as a catalyst for their adopted son Marco, stirring his desire for revenge.
