However, Bungie recently released a video update to discuss the game’s progress and future development milestones.
In a nearly 10-minute video discussion, Joe Ziegler, the game director for Marathon, shared updates about the current status of the game. While the video didn’t provide specifics like gameplay footage or a definite release date, it did offer some intriguing insights. Notably, Ziegler revealed that Bungie aims to broaden the Marathon playtest to include more participants in the year 2025.

Additionally, Ziegler unveiled two fresh concept illustrations. One features a playable character, referred to as Runners and secretly named Thief. He hinted that the character’s code name offers a clue about her in-game functionality. The other artwork represents another runner, codenamed Stealth, whose image is partially obscured by smoke.
