Mandy Rose Questions WWE Return: ‘I Don’t Know’

Previously crowned NXT Women’s Champion, Mandy Rose, has been sharing thoughts about rejoining the promotion. In the year 2022, Rose thrived in WWE NXT, experiencing one of her most successful periods with a remarkable reign of 413 days as she proudly held the NXT Women’s Championship.

In December of that year, Roxanne Perez took the title from her on WWE NXT, and the following day, she was let go by WWE, allegedly because of content posted on FanTime. This unexpected move left fans stunned. Now, after an absence spanning more than two years, Rose has expressed thoughts about returning to the ring. Yet, she wonders if WWE would be open to her return, as she feels they’ve effectively erased her from their history.

Stephanie Vaquer became a double champion after winning the NXT Women’s Championship by beating Giulia. The WWE then referred to her as the first woman to hold two titles within NXT. But, fans reminded them that Rose previously held both the NXT and NXT UK Women’s Championships, thus unifying them. In response, Rose disputed WWE’s assertion.

During a conversation on Busted Open Radio, Mandy Rose discussed the fact that she’s not being mentioned on WWE television anymore. She expressed:

“In a chat on Busted Open Radio, I talked about it not coming as a shock to me that I’m no longer being featured on WWE TV.

It indeed does, yet I’m utterly perplexed about its nature. Circumstantial, with numerous individuals within the company where events unfold and time passes, only to return. It’s a professional setup, after all, and they view it as such. To me, it remains an enigma. Initially, I presumed I might be among them, returning to wrestling in particular.

Currently, things are going great for me, but I’m questioning whether it would be wise to return to wrestling. To be honest, I’m not entirely sure yet. I’ve never retired and said goodbye to wrestling, as I still feel young. If the circumstances were right, I might seriously consider it.

Mandy Rose expresses her feeling about WWE return

During the same interview, Mandy Rose expressed her thoughts on potentially participating in the Women’s Royal Rumble event. She openly acknowledged her uncertainty about whether or not the WWE would be open to welcoming her back again. In simpler terms, she shared that there was a chance for her involvement in the Women’s Royal Rumble, but she wasn’t sure if the WWE would allow her to return.

I’m unsure if they would take me back or even want to talk to me again. I can’t tell how they feel about the situation. We’ve never really discussed it. It’s possible they’re upset about what transpired, but I’m not sure. Alternatively, they might be distancing themselves from me because I seem to have been left out in certain situations, as if I no longer matter or exist in their eyes to some extent.

Recently, NXT acknowledged me in a promo segment. They discussed the evolution of women’s wrestling, which was encouraging. It made me think, ‘Perhaps they acknowledge my contribution.’ Sometimes, it seems as though I’ve slipped their mind when it comes to notable superstars. However, I might be mistaken. If Rose expresses an openness to coming back under suitable conditions, it’ll be intriguing to observe whether WWE decides to welcome her again. The future will reveal the answer.
