Anirudh Ravichander maintains his trend of announcing thrilling updates, this time sharing news about the upcoming first single from Rajinikanth’s movie Vettaiyan. On a recent post on platform X (previously known as Twitter), the gifted musician hinted that the song from the film will be unveiled shortly.
The music director wrote, “Got it? The song for ‘Vettaiyan’ coming soon. Watch out for ‘Hunter Vantaar,’ a phrase from the film ‘Jailer.'”

As a loyal follower, I frequently notice that Anirudh shares a unique tweet for his upcoming singles ahead of their release. In the past, this talented music director has done the same by teasing the first single from Devara, titled Fear Song. Interestingly, a video clip from the Vettaiyan sets, which features Anirudh, has been leaked on X earlier.
As a devoted fan, I must share that the recently leaked video includes a Malayalam-style song setup, given that part of the film was shot in Kerala. With the upcoming release of the first single from Vettaiyan, my excitement for the movie is definitely escalating.
In the coming collaboration, Anirudh will work on his fourth project alongside Rajinikanth, following films like Petta, Darbar, and Jailer. The producers have revealed that this film is scheduled for release on October 10, 2024, coinciding with Suriya’s highly anticipated fantasy movie Kanguva. The upcoming Rajinikanth film, Vettaiyan, is said to be an action-packed cop drama in which the superstar will delve into a profound mystery.
Besides him, the movie features prominent performances by Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, and Rithika Singh in significant roles. Additionally, this actor is currently working on a film titled Coolie under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Beyond that, I’m excited to share that I’ll be featured in the upcoming film Jailer 2, continuing my creative partnership with Nelson Dilipkumar.
