Mammootty’s 73rd birthday: Dulquer Salmaan is completely starstruck as he pens wish for dad, ‘Im beginning to understand…’

As a lifestyle expert with a rich background in the film industry, I must say that the bond between Mammootty and his son Dulquer Salmaan is truly heartwarming to witness. Their unique take on capturing moments together resonates deeply with my own experiences in the world of cinema where the most precious memories are often those spontaneous, unposed ones.

On September 7, 2024, beloved acting legend Mammootty turns 73, with an outpouring of well wishes and admiration from fans everywhere. Now, his son Dulquer Salmaan, a talented actor in his own right, shares heartfelt sentiments about his father on his personal Instagram account.

In a recent Instagram post, DQ published an uncommon photo he has with his father, remarking, “I’ve come to understand that the most cherished friendships often lack photos. That’s because their shared moments are too valuable and enjoyable to spend time setting up poses or taking selfies.

The actor continued by explaining that it’s become a custom for them to take photos on each birthday. Interestingly, though, neither of their phones contains pictures just of the two of them. He then went on to express, “Now I’m starting to appreciate and cherish why that is.” Wishing my dearest friend, my role model, my father, a very happy birthday!

This year, as the celebrated actor reaches 73, numerous celebrities such as Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, and others have conveyed their warm wishes to him. Furthermore, this joyous event has also brought delight for fans since the actor unveiled the title of his upcoming film.

Funded by his personal production company, Mammootty is all set to star in the intriguing mystery-thriller titled “Dominic and The Ladies’ Purses.” This movie marks the Malayalam cinematic debut of Gautham Vasudev Menon and is known for featuring the megastar as a witty detective, reminiscent of Sherlock Holmes.

Intriguingly, the initial movie poster hints at an enigma through a collection of female-themed photos that bear a noticeable marking. Furthermore, silhouettes of Sherlock Holmes are strategically placed on the same wall. The actor is shown in a bathrobe strolling in his room, carrying a lady’s handbag and accompanied by a cat trailing behind him.

Aside from my uncontainable excitement, I can’t help but share that I’ll soon be witnessing my favorite actor grace the screen once more, this time in “Bazooka.” Directed by the talented Deeno Dennis, this film promises to be an electrifying action spectacle. And here’s another tidbit that has me practically buzzing – none other than Gautham Menon will be playing a significant role! I can hardly contain my anticipation for this masterpiece!
