Dayyana Hameed recently got married to popular TV host and actor Ameen Madathil, in a private event held in Kochi. The wedding was a small gathering of their closest companions and relatives. It is said that the union was orchestrated by both sets of parents.

Lately, Dayyana posted some wedding videos on her Instagram account. Notably, Anumol Anukutty uploaded enchanting photos of the newlyweds, Dayyana_hameed and Ameen_madathil, with a heartfelt message: “Wishing you a blissful married life, my dear Dayyana and Amul. In conversation with OnManorama, Dayyana disclosed that she and Ameen initially crossed paths through a television program. Over time, they developed a friendship. She went on to say that their families orchestrated the proposal for marriage. The actress also hinted at another ceremony being held at Ameen’s residence. Interestingly, Dayyana expressed her intention to persist with her acting career in films and TV shows post-marriage.

We developed friendship after bonding over a TV show, and subsequently, the idea of marriage was facilitated through our families. In a few months, there’s another gathering planned at Ameen’s home. As for my career, I plan to carry on with films and television even post-marriage.

Born on October 1, 1992, in Trivandrum, Kerala, Dayana Hameed is a versatile actress who has made significant strides in both the Malayalam and Tamil film industries. She is the daughter of Hameed and Sheeba Hameed. Before embarking on her acting journey, she worked as a model. Notable performances include her role as Rajini Chandy in The Gambler and Rituparna in Paappan.
