Based on the same source, it appears that the actor turned off his cellphones and wasn’t found at either of his homes in Kochi. In response to this, the Kerala Police put out a travel alert for the actor to prevent him from leaving the country.

In a different turn of events, the actor and Kollam MLA Mukesh faced charges similar to those he was arrested for. Yet, following his apprehension, the actor was released due to a previously granted anticipatory bail.
