Nirmal Benny gained significant fame for his portrayal as Kochachan, a junior priest, in the highly praised movie titled Amen, helmed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. His exceptional acting in this film garnered him respect and appreciation from both industry professionals and viewers alike.
In the charming village of Kumarankary, the story unfolds with the arrival of a newcomer, Father Vincent Vattoli, portrayed by Indrajith Sukumaran. The film delves into the complexities of the village society, centering primarily on the romantic relationship that blossoms between Vincent and a local resident, played by Swathi Reddy, marking her Malayalam acting debut here. The plot skillfully intertwines ideas of love, religion, and community, all unfolding against the historic Nasrani church as its backdrop.
Nirmal started his acting career in 2012 with the movie “Navagatharkku Swagatham,” and since then, he’s appeared in five films, one of which is “Dooram” where he took on a key role.
