In the anticipated action-fantasy film “Ajayante Randam Moshanam”, the narrative unfolds against the backdrop of Northern Kerala across different eras such as 1900, 1950, and 1990.
In this film, Tovino Thomas portrays not one but three distinct characters: Maniyan, Kunjikelu, and Ajayan. Each of these characters is on a mission to safeguard a significant treasure that spans generations. Additionally, the movie introduces Krithi Shetty to Malayalam cinema as she makes her acting debut in this production.
In addition to Tovino Thomas and Krithi Shetty, the film directed by Jithin Lal features a talented group of actors such as Aishwarya Rajesh, Surabhi Lakshmi, Basil Joseph, Rohini, Harish Uthaman, Nisthar Sait, Jagadish, Pramod Shetty, Aju Varghese, Maala Parvathy, and others in significant roles.
Lately, Krithi Shetty had an exclusive conversation with TopMob, during which she shared insights about her work in ARM and her involvement in Malayalam cinema. In this chat, the actress elaborated on how the movie skillfully blends mythology with old-world charm.
The actress additionally shared that portraying an authentic village girl of genuine Malayali heritage was both challenging and rewarding. Furthermore, she mentioned that from an acting standpoint, this particular film required her to employ understated and nuanced expressions rather than the more expressive performances she had given in the past.
In addition, Krithi extolled her fellow actor Tovino Thomas, commenting on his humility and exceptional supportiveness. Furthermore, the actress commended him for his commitment and ability to make her feel comfortable as she practiced her lines in Malayalam.
Apart from his upcoming movie “ARM”, Tovino Thomas is set to return to the Lucifer franchise for its second part, titled “L2: Empuraan”. Additionally, he will star as the main character alongside Trisha Krishnan in the film known as “Identity”.
