Update on Big E’s WWE contract status

According to Fightful Select, The New Day members signed five-year contracts five years ago, which are now nearing their end in December 2022. Since Big E sustained a neck injury in March 2022, WWE has the opportunity to extend his contract by adding time due to his injury.

It appears that the reports indicate Big E’s contract with WWE has not been extended due to any additional time for injury recovery. It’s uncertain if he has re-signed or negotiated a new deal during this period. Additionally, it was noted that although he is injured, he has still been contributing by featuring in digital content, public appearances, and panels.

Although no news is available yet about Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods renewing their contracts, or whether The New Day will betray Big E whose contract details are unclear, it’s intriguing to speculate on what may occur for Big E when his current deal concludes at the end of this year.
