Major Update on Jay White Following AEW WrestleDream 2024 Win

As a die-hard AEW fan, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for what’s to come next in Jay White’s journey! After his triumphant return from injury at WrestleDream 2024, where he finally secured a long-awaited win against Adam Page, it’s clear that the former AEW Trios Champion is back with a vengeance.

Previously crowned Trios Champion in AEW, Jay White, who recently made a comeback, squared off with Adam Page during the WrestleDream 2024 event this past weekend. With Page on his radar, White managed to clinch victory over the former AEW World Champion at WrestleDream 2024.

In July, White encountered Page in the semifinals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. However, it was Page who emerged victorious over his opponent. The game took a surprising turn when Christian Cage intervened. With the referee incapacitated, Cage delivered a spear to White, thereby costing him his match against Page and the Owen Hart Foundation Cup.

Due to Cage’s meddling in our game, Page managed to pin White. Later, it was confirmed that White had genuinely injured his foot during the match, which led his group, Bang Bang Gang, to forfeit their AEW Trios Championship. Unbelievably, Christian Cage’s group, The Patriarchy, seized the Trios titles as a result of this turn of events.

For approximately two months, White was kept out of action due to an injury. But on October 2nd, he made a comeback in AEW Dynamite, assisting Juice Robinson against Adam Page. This was White’s first appearance on AEW programming since his loss to Page during the Owen Hart Tournament. Following his return, White has been eager for revenge. He triumphed over Page at AEW WrestleDream 2024, and now he is focusing his attention on Cage – the individual responsible for White’s defeat in the Owen Hart Tournament.

Jay White to clash with Christian Cage on AEW Dynamite

On his previous platform (Twitter), Tony Khan, president of AEW, revealed that Jay White will square off against Christian Cage during the forthcoming episode of AEW Dynamite. This exciting event will be held at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

During the build-up to the match, Tony Khan highlighted that Jay White is determined to retaliate against Christian Cage for denying him the Owen Hart Foundation Cup. A win over Cage not only offers White his sought-after retribution but also opens up possibilities for a future clash regarding the AEW Trios Championship. Since White’s group, the Bang Bang Gang, had to surrender their titles due to an injury, it will be intriguing to witness how this storyline unfolds on Dynamite.
