In the year 2000, during the initial ceremony of his debut film, Mahesh Babu encountered Namrata Shirodkar for the first time. As their interaction deepened on set, they found themselves developing feelings for each other and eventually falling in love.
Though Namrata was four years senior to Mahesh, the difference in age didn’t seem significant for them. They chose to keep their relationship discreet, with Mahesh not disclosing it to his parents initially. It was eventually his sister who disclosed their romantic involvement. In 2004, they officially confirmed their relationship and tied the knot on February 2005. After their marriage, Namrata decided to pause her acting career to concentrate on nurturing their children.
