On September 28, 2022, Indira Devi, the spouse of esteemed Tollywood actor Krishna and mother of Mahesh Babu, sadly passed away. The News Minute reports that she was 70 years old and had been facing various health challenges before her peaceful passing at her home in Hyderabad.
Currently off-set, Mahesh Babu is gearing up for his collaboration with director SS Rajamouli on their upcoming film, SSMB29. This ambitious production, a high-budget action-adventure, spans across various countries. Notably, this will be the first time Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli are teaming up for a project.
The film is being produced with a substantial financial investment, ranking it among the priciest productions in Indian cinema. Earlier reports indicated that the movie would premiere as a standalone feature. It appears that the initial concept of dividing the film into two parts has been abandoned.
Initially, it was suggested that filming would continue until 2026, with a release date set for 2027. However, it’s important to note that while stars like Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Prithviraj Sukumaran are rumored to take on significant roles, the final cast list has not been officially announced yet.
