On NFL Draft Day, EA Sports unveiled their upcoming football simulations. Officially confirmed for summer launches are Madden NFL 26 and EA Sports College Football 26. This will be the first time a new Madden game won’t debut on PS4 or Xbox One platforms.
The promotional video for Madden NFL 26 EA Sports College Football 26, named “The Call,” depicts a player receiving news that he’s being drafted to the Washington Commanders. This is preceded by scenes reminiscent of his college football days at Texas, and a glimpse into future plans, such as his retirement ceremony.
The trailer hints at a possibility where gamers can guide their character from their high school days, through college, all the way to the NFL. Last year’s versions enabled players to carry over their NCAA Football (CFB) character to Madden, and it seems that this year’s releases will further enhance career modes by incorporating high school experiences.
The MVP Package, featuring both Madden NFL 26 and College Football 26, is slated to launch on July 10, 2025. It’s expected that we’ll receive College Football 26 first, with Madden NFL 26 arriving later in July.
