With a life filled with countless seasons, trades, and draft picks, I’ve seen it all – from the highs of Super Bowl victories to the lows of losing streaks that would make even the toughest coaches question their careers.
EA Sports recently shared an in-depth look at the updates for the beloved Franchise Mode in Madden NFL 25, highlighting some modifications they’ve made to the game.
Following the disclosure of certain ratings and gameplay details earlier in the month, EA Sports has shifted its attention towards enhancing the Franchise Mode, a key feature in Madden. As stated by EA Sports, this year they are concentrating on three primary aspects for the Franchise Mode: creating an immersive experience, offering customization options, and improving the gameplay’s depth and core mechanics.
The upcoming Madden NFL 25 game is set to debut on August 16, 2024, and it will be playable on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and personal computers.

What’s new in Madden NFL 25 Franchise Mode?
Through a detailed deep-dive video and a subsequent blog post, EA Sports explained the enhancements coming to Madden NFL 25’s Franchise Mode. Their aim is to create a more immersive and interactive experience by incorporating over 70 new dynamic storylines into the game, making it seem as if you are truly managing a football team.
1. In modern football (NFL), issues such as players arriving unfit, making pledges to teammates, boasting to the media, and then having to address the consequences are becoming part of the game. Additionally, the NFL Draft has been revamped to offer a more engaging draft night experience. A fresh prospect board simplifies the process of evaluating players, while real-time grading on your selections will appear, allowing you to instantly assess your performance.
Notable adjustments have been made to the Franchise Mode, with significant improvements to Franchise Central (our central hub). Now, you can craft your very own team from scratch, and there are enhancements in areas such as animations, player and coach appearances, and much more.
