Machante Maalakha narrates the tale of Sajeevan and his wife Bijimol’s tumultuous marriage, complicated by Kunjumol’s persistent meddling. Matters grow more intense when Gopi, Sajeevan’s father-in-law, becomes involved, exacerbating family disputes.

As disagreements become more intense, lawsuits emerge, with court hearings proving pivotal in determining outcomes. With the number of arguments increasing, bonds between family members are strained, creating a captivating tale of family dynamics.

In the climax, an unforeseen event triggers a dramatic change within a key character, setting the stage for a rapid conclusion. This metamorphosis leads to the resolution of lingering disputes, ultimately resulting in healing and a peaceful settlement that puts old conflicts to rest.

Cast and crew of Machante Maalakha

The movie titled “Machante Maalakha” is helmed by director Boban Samuel, with a screenplay penned by Ajeesh P. Thomas and the original concept by Jexson Antony. This production is supported by prominent Malayalam film producer Abraham Mathew.

In this production, Soubin Shahir assumes the character of Sajeevan, a bus conductor for KSRTC. Dhyan Sreenivasan is cast as Jijo, a lawyer. Namitha Pramod portrays Bijimol, a pharmacy owner, while Dileesh Pothan embodies Dasan, Sajeevan’s older sibling. Manoj K. U. plays Gopi, Bijimol’s father, and Vineeth Thattil steps into the role of Ramesan, Dasan’s friend. Shanthi Krishna is Kunjumol, Bijimol’s mother, and Sheelu Abraham takes on the role of Sreeja, a lawyer. Lastly, Lal Jose completes the cast as Judge Eswaran Pillai.
