The narrative of “Maaman” centers on the unique bond between Inba and his nephew, Laddu. From their early years, Inba showed immense affection for Laddu, and this fondness evolved into deep care as they grew older.
As Inba and Rekha grow closer and plan their wedding, it is their mischievous child, Laddu, who increasingly causes trouble, disrupting the couple’s relationship during challenging periods.
After experiencing a growing rift and numerous disagreements, the pair (Rekha and Inba) find themselves drifting apart. Eventually, they make the decision to relocate to Madurai, leaving their shared past behind. However, Laddu’s longing for his uncle becomes increasingly profound, causing him to feel a deep sense of regret.
At a crucial juncture, an event occurs that alters everyone’s lives, causing Rekha, Inba, and Laddu to reconsider their relationships and make amends for past errors.
