First appearing at Milan Fashion Week earlier this year, the much-anticipated partnership between lululemon and Saul Nash has officially launched. Dubbed “SLNSH,” this line seamlessly merges lululemon’s dedication to sporty and casual attire with Saul Nash’s refined aesthetic. Viewed through the perspective of transformation, the collection pushes the limits of both fashion and activewear.
Saul possesses a natural aptitude for comprehending our genetic makeup, seamlessly blending our advanced textiles and building techniques into his designs to create a line that embodies both functionality and fashion,” explained Jonathan Cheung, Lululemon’s creative director.
The collaboration primarily revolves around four key design principles: Hybrid Design, Modular Construction, Show & Hide, and Transformation. Gender-neutral sportswear plays a significant role in Nash’s design ethos. The collection encompasses a comprehensive variety of women’s clothing, men’s attire, and accessories.
Distinctive items are the versatile 2-in-1 Transforming Coat, High-Waisted Mesh-Panel Tights, and Durable Ripstop Work Pants. Bright yellows and oranges can be seen through mesh-paneled openings, introducing a vibrant burst of color. In other areas, sleeves with lightweight panels provide excellent stretch and air circulation due to their breathable fabric.
