Every year brings along holiday seasons, which also signify gaming events. The Valentine’s Day event for Overwatch 2 has begun, introducing fresh challenges and incentives. Let me share the latest updates!

Valentine’s Day Event In Overwatch 2

Hey there! This exciting event lasts just for a fortnight, specifically from February 4th to the 18th. So, if you’re up for the challenge, you’ll need to act swiftly! The good news is, if you manage to complete your tasks ahead of schedule, you’ll earn a heap of XP that will significantly boost your progress in the battle pass. Plus, you’ll get your hands on some amazing free rewards!

In terms of gameplay, the “Love of Geometry mode” will be making a comeback once more! This mode initially debuted during the 2023 Valentine’s Day event, reappeared in 2024, and can now be played again.

This mode is called “Love of Geometry”. It’s a team-based game where four players from each team go head-to-head, but The action takes place on a single map, known as the Paris Deathmatch map, so you’ll be battling it out in the City of Love.

In this game mode, Hanzo’s Scatter Arrow skill is back in action! If you successfully eliminate an opponent using this unique ability, your team will earn double the points, which is equivalent to two kills. Your team emerges victorious if you accumulate 50 kills before your opponents do, or if you have a higher kill count when the 10-minute clock winds down.

Additionally, you’ll find a total of 11 Valentine’s Day tasks awaiting you. Completing 10 of these will reward you with 2,500 XP each! Extra bonuses are included for some of these tasks as well.

  • The Radiant Love challenge, which requires you to complete 80 games, awards you with a Lovey Dovey Lifeweaver player icon in addition to the 2,500 XP
  • The Geometric Love challenge gives you 2,500 XP and a Mwah Lifeweaver voice line, you have to complete 6 games in the Love of Geometry mode for these rewards
  • The Love Is in the Air challenge is the only one that doesn’t reward you with XP. Instead, it requires you to complete 7 other Valentine’s Day challenges to complete this one. In return, you get a Pachilove name card

With a total of 25,000 experience points (XP), these delightful challenges are certain to advance your progress in the Battle Pass, so it’s time to jump in and start playing!
