Universal Pictures has unveiled a preview clip from their upcoming action-comedy-thriller, titled “Love Hurts,” set to hit theaters this coming Friday, February 7. The clip showcases Ke Huy Quan in his debut as a leading actor, having recently won an Oscar for his performance in the 2022 film, Everything Everywhere All at Once.
The movie focuses on Marvin Gable, a realtor dealing with an abundance of ‘For Sale’ signs in the Milwaukee suburbs. He receives a menacing letter from Rose, an ex-colleague thought to be deceased. Clearly upset, Marvin is dragged back into a life of lethal hitmen, treachery, and open houses transformed into battlefields. With his brother Knuckles, a dangerous crime boss, hot on his trail, Marvin must grapple with the ghosts of his past and the history he failed to bury properly.

The video highlights Quan’s exceptional martial arts abilities, hinting at one of the film’s thrilling fight scenes. Alongside Quan, it also stars Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch, who plays King, and André Eriksen as Otis, known for his role in Violent Night.
