Explore Monsterland with style! Traverse its streets adorned in monstrously trendy attire, and don’t overlook carrying our unique Godzilla oversized backpack, adorned with original artwork by artist Florian Bertmer. This artwork is a limited edition from Mondo’s exclusive SDCC 2023 Destroy All Monsters poster screenprint.
Peter Santa-Maria, also recognized as “Attack Peter,” from Mondo expresses his enthusiasm by saying, “There’s nothing more thrilling and gratifying than crafting unique art inspired by our beloved films and series, and the best part is being able to share that work with a wide audience! That’s why we at Mondo were overjoyed to collaborate with the genius minds behind Loungefly, who are renowned for their top-tier bags. Their impeccable taste was immediately drawn to Florian Bertmer’s artwork on our SDCC 2023 exclusive print for Destroy All Monsters, leading them to propose a bag design based on it. As a massive fan of Loungefly, I was thrilled to see our first collaboration come to life so beautifully. I have no doubt that this item will be cherished by many, and I can hardly wait to add one to my own collection!
Bertmer expressed, “It’s totally mind-blowing to witness my Destroy All Monsters artwork being turned into a backpack. It’s even more remarkable knowing that one day, my own children will wear it to school. There’s an indescribable magic in watching my art complete its cycle, from conception to something they’ll carry with them daily.
