In the role of principal sponsor for the FORMULA 1 LOUIS VUITTON AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2025, Louis Vuitton is raising its involvement in F1 to greater heights. Following a new partnership agreement lasting a decade, announced in 2024, Formula One and LVMH have revealed images of the Louis Vuitton Grand Prix Trophy Trunk for 2025 as they gear up for the season’s start in Australia. Inspired by Louis Vuitton’s iconic cargo trunks, the first trophy created under this partnership combines the French brand’s distinctive symbols with motor racing-inspired elements.
In simpler terms, the 2025 Grand Prix Trophy Trunk sports the brand’s well-known monogram in a timeless brown and gold color scheme. Diagonal checkerboard details on the doors display the traditional Australian colors of green and gold, encasing the elegant steering wheel within. The brand describes its trunk designs as a blend of tradition and modernity, representing the spirit of travel while mirroring the host city’s symbolic hues and unique character, as expressed in a statement on their F1 page.
Alongside a distinctive Louis Vuitton trunk, the brand will be showcased across track banners and signage, as well as unique events by LVMH brands Tag Heuer and Moët & Chandon. This exciting event, taking place from March 14 to 16 in Melbourne, will celebrate the weekend’s top winner with a special Louis Vuitton Trophy.
