As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I must confess that the announcement of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage from Don’t Nod has sent a thrill down my spine. Having been captivated by Life is Strange, I am eagerly awaiting this return to their narrative universe. The dual release date format piques my curiosity – it’s not every day we get a serialized game experience!
The continuation of Gamescom Opening Night Live showcased a sneak peek at the next story-driven game from Don’t Nod, creators of Life is Strange. In the near future, they will journey back to the ’90s with Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, which now has confirmed launch dates. However, it’s important to note that there are actually two release dates for this exciting new game.
For those new to the Lost Records saga, it spans across two distinct phases in the protagonists’ lives. The game introduces its characters during their high school years in 1995 and again as adults in 2022. A peculiar event occurred that summer, and Swann will work to help her friends understand and deal with the aftermath when they reunite after a 27-year gap.
Earlier in the year, we got a chance to chat with the Don’t Nod Montreal team regarding their upcoming game. Since they moved into their new workspace, the creators of the original Life is Strange are now prepared to unveil their fresh narrative to the gaming community.
Search for the Missing Archives: Bloom & Rage will be unveiled in two installments. The first installment is set to launch on February 18, with the second one following a month later on March 18. This title will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
