Lola Young Cancels Upcoming Shows After Collapsing On Stage

Lola Young, the 24-year-old British pop singer and songwriter, has said she’s cancelling all shows and public events “for the foreseeable future.” This news comes after she collapsed suddenly while performing at the All Things Go music festival in New York.

Young told her fans through a social media post that she’s stepping back to prioritize her health and well-being.

What Happened

During her performance at the All Things Go Music Festival at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens on September 27, 2025, Young suddenly collapsed on stage. She was in the middle of singing “Conceited”, a track from her album “This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway”, when video footage shows her falling backwards.

She started the performance by telling the audience she’d had “a tricky couple of days“, explaining that she’d been dealing with recent emotional and physical difficulties. A week earlier, she’d had to cancel her New Jersey concert with little warning due to a “sensitive matter” concerning her mental health, as her manager explained.

The day following the event, Young assured her fans she was “doing okay,” but she did cancel her planned appearance in Washington, D.C.

“I’m going away for a while. It pains me to say I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future. Thank you for all the love and support. I’m so sorry to let anyone down who has bought a ticket to see me, it hurts me more than you know. Obviously you will be entitled to a full refund. I really hope you’ll give me a second chance once I’ve had some time to work on myself and come back stronger.”

Young has previously shared her experiences with mental health challenges. She has been diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, and she’s openly discussed topics like addiction and overall wellbeing as part of her public narrative. This openness has allowed her to connect with others facing similar struggles.
