Lokesh Kanagaraj, known to many in the realm of Tamil cinema, has recently been making waves with movies such as Kaithi, Master, Vikram, and Leo. Now, it appears he’s ready for a new challenge – stepping into the limelight as an actor for the first time.

As per a report from Let’s Cinema, it appears that Lokesh is preparing to take on a role in an upcoming movie directed by Arun Matheswaran. Notably, Arun had previously worked on Captain Miller with Dhanush as director. Initially, there were expectations that he would direct the biopic of Ilaiyaraaja, but it’s been suggested that this project may be facing delays.

Based on current circumstances, it seems likely that Arun might choose to work on the latest movie project for his next endeavor. We’re hoping for an official confirmation about this soon. For now, though, all we have are rumors; we’ll need Lokesh himself to confirm the news officially.

Regarding Lokesh Kanagaraj, it’s worth noting that he has popped up on screen in some previous projects. In 2021, he shared the screen with his team in a cameo for Thalapathy Vijay’s film Master.

Afterward, he made an appearance in the music video named “Inimel”, sharing screen space with Shruti Haasan. The lyrics for this song were written by Kamal Haasan himself, and it was produced under his production house, Raaj Kamal Films International.
