It’s official — Jonathan Anderson is leaving Loewe after 11 years at the brand. Stepping down from the creative director position, the British designer transformed the small Spanish leather house into a global luxury phenomenon that continues to be a pillar in contemporary culture.
In an exclusive statement shared to WWD, Loewe announced the confirmation of Anderson’s exit however the publication reported that it has not mentioned any successor at the moment. The most recent fashion weeks in Paris was buzzing with rumors that hear Anderson is heading to Dior to succeed Kim Jones and that he has already began working on the Spring 2026 menswear collection. As for successors for Loewe, following Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez stepping down from their New York-label, they have been widely speculated to take over as the creative helm after Anderson.
