As a seasoned Guardian, I’ve seen my fair share of Grenade Launchers gracing Destiny 2’s Crucible and beyond. But when it comes to Liturgy, this Stasis beauty has caught my eye like no other!
The new hot item in Destiny 2 is the Liturgy Grenade Launcher, introduced with Episode: Revenant. Being a dual-fire type, it particularly excels when paired with perks that increase the power of subsequent shots after an initial hit. To get the best out of the Liturgy, aim to maximize these advantages in your weapon setup.
Liturgy god roll – PvE
From a gamer’s perspective, wielding the Stasis Grenade Launcher known as ‘Liturgy’, I can vouch for its exceptional qualities within my Stasis-focused builds. Always be on the lookout for those precious drops, as this Litury god roll calls for the inclusion of the freshly introduced perk: Rimestealer.
Liturgy god roll – PvE | |
---|---|
Barrel | Quick Launch (Velocity +10, Handling +15) |
Magazine | Disorienting Grenades (Detonation has a brief disorienting effect. Greatly decreases blast radius) |
Perk 1 | Rimestealer (Destroying a Stasis crystal or defeating a frozen target with this weapon grants you Frost Armor) |
Perk 2 | Chill Clip (Direct hits with the top half of the magazine cause a detonation that slows nearby targets) |
Origin Trait | Dark Ether Reaper (Finals blows with this weapon periodically spawn Dark Ether charges. Charges can be detonated early with weapons fire or by coming into contact with them. Doing so refills this weapon from reserves) |
Masterwork | Reload Speed |
Mod | Tactical (Reload Speed +6, Handling +6) |
Begin by using Quick Launch and Discombobulating Grenades to guarantee the grenade reaches its target and leaves them utterly exposed. The disorientation will facilitate hitting subsequent shots dead-on at the target, a crucial step to activate the synergy effectively.
With Chill Clip equipped, direct shots towards the upper part of the magazine will temporarily incapacitate nearby opponents, facilitating the quicker process of immobilizing targets or generating Stasis shards. This is significant since Rimestealer utilizes these shards to create Stasis crystals. By destroying either a Stasis crystal or a frozen adversary, you’ll receive Frost Armor, an effective shield that significantly reduces damage in challenging endgame scenarios.
For the Masterwork and Mods, that will always be personal preference. Reload Speed will help you get those grenades back into the tube, ensuring you can keep the perk synergy rolling. However, Handling is always a good option. For the Mod, take a look at some of the new ones, especially Synergy if you’re using a Stasis build.
Liturgy god roll – PvP
In terms of competitive gameplay (PvP), few things can be more infuriating than being struck by a perfectly rolled Grenade Launcher. To make the most of this weapon’s Liturgy roll, concentrate on utilizing its dual-burst capability.
Liturgy god roll – PvP | |
---|---|
Barrel | Quick Launch (Velocity +10, Handling +15) |
Magazine | Proximity Grenades (Grenades fired from this weapon have increased proximity detection but a decreased blast radius) |
Perk 1 | Slideways (Sliding partially reloads this weapon’s magazine and temporarily boosts handling and stability) |
Perk 2 | One For All (Hitting three separate targets increases damage for a moderate duration) |
Origin Trait | Dark Ether Reaper (Finals blows with this weapon periodically spawn Dark Ether charges. Charges can be detonated early with weapons fire or by coming into contact with them. Doing so refills this weapon from reserves) |
Masterwork | Handling |
Mod | Synergy (Final blows with this weapon have a chance to create an elemental pickup matching its damage type, or an Orb of Power for weapons that deal Kinetic damage) |
Every time, Quick Launch is an excellent strategy for Crucible matches. Boosting Velocity maximizes the stat, usually leaving little time for opponents to dodge out of the way. In case they do move a bit, Proximity Grenade can help secure hits.
One of the advantages that keeps you competitive is Slideways. Shoot, slide, and bypass the reload visual effect. Additionally, this tactic will benefit One For All, which increases damage when you strike different targets. This strategy should lead to a high kill count; remember to regularly replenish your Special ammo supply.
A Liturgy god roll for Destiny 2: Revenant is going to be an exciting thing to receive. With some unique perk combinations up for grabs, there is plenty to like about this Stasis Grenade Launcher.
