Vivian Breton is a recognized composer who has gained fame primarily due to his work on Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone. Additionally, he has also created scores for the spin-offs of Yellowstone titled 1883 and 1923, which have also earned him Emmy nominations, along with other award nominations such as the BMI Awards. Furthermore, he is responsible for composing the score for Guan Hu’s 2024 indie film Black Dog, in addition to the feature film Five Feet Apart.
The show follows the Dutton family, headed by John Dutton, who owns the largest uninterrupted cattle ranch in the U.S. According to the description, the series explores shifting allegiances, unsolved homicides, lingering injuries, and earned prestige as the ranch faces continuous confrontations with neighboring entities such as a developing town, an Indian reservation, and America’s first national park.
