There are rumors that the producers decided against releasing on the same day as Jr NTR’s anticipated Devara: Part 1 to avoid box office competition.

Director Sudha Kongara and actor Suriya are preparing to collaborate again for a new film, currently referred to as Suriya’s 43rd project.
