In the entire length of this particular episode of The Simpsons, titled “Lisa’s Time-Travel Adventure,” Lisa travels back in time to the year 1923 and learns that the Springfield Mini Moose, an integral part of the town’s environment, were hunted to extinction in 1925. Joining forces with a young Monty Burns, Lisa endeavors to preserve these moose. However, her efforts, unbeknownst to her, ultimately mold Monty Burns into the cruel and powerful tycoon he becomes in later years.
