In an interview with Newsweek, Kudrow shared that she has entertained the idea of returning to the show and has even discussed it with co-creator Michael Patrick King on occasion.

“Michael Patrick King and I have frequently discussed potential future developments for our project. It’s been approximately nine to ten years since we last worked on it. Therefore, we’re overdue for continuing the conversation.”
The actress added that she’s pleased to hear the show still sparks conversation among fans when they run into her.
“I’m absolutely delighted and fond of people who share my deep affection for ‘The Comeback.’ Hearing this brings me great joy,” expressed Kudrow.
In 2005, “The Comeback” first appeared on TV, created jointly by Kudrow and King. This show offers a humorous perspective behind the scenes of television production and is presented as if discovered footage. The story revolves around Valerie Cherish (Kudrow), a seasoned B-list actress aiming to make a comeback in an industry that increasingly favors youth.
The series initially aired for only one season back in 2014 but was brought back to life. During its tenure, The Comeback earned four Primetime Emmy nominations. Among these nods, Lisa Kudrow herself was recognized twice for her role as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
