As a die-hard fan of K-pop and Blackpink, I couldn’t be more thrilled about Lisa’s foray into acting! Her role in The White Lotus is not just another step in her illustrious career, but a bold leap that promises to showcase her versatility as an artist.
The renowned K-pop artist, known for her dance and rap skills with Blackpink, has been cast in the third installment of HBO’s drama series, “The White Lotus.” With excitement building, the upcoming season is set to air next year, stirring up a lot of curiosity.
In an interview with Elle magazine, Lisa shared memories of when she was given the role. She expressed feeling both excitement and apprehension, saying “I was thrilled to learn I’d landed the part, but then immediately wondered ‘How on earth will I manage this?'” To calm her doubts, Lisa likened acting to producing a music video, using her familiarity with that area to build up her confidence for the task ahead.
Lisa didn’t just drop hints, she playfully suggested that there is new music brewing, or should I put it differently, in the ‘oven’? The multitalented artist gave a sneak peek of her upcoming collaboration with Rosalía. Interestingly, she managed to keep secret the fact that the video for this song will be directed by Dave Meyers, who has previously created visually stunning videos for artists like Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and Ariana Grande. Given his past work, we can anticipate great things from this upcoming project.

I mean, who doesn’t get energized by Taylor Swift’s concerts or find themselves grooving to Ariana Grande’s ‘The Boy is Mine’? Now that I’m diving into acting and music videos, the question on everyone’s minds is: Could there be a collaboration with the amazing Ariana Grande in my future? Time will tell!
