Lindsay Lohan’s Father Michael Lohan Arrested Over Alleged Assault

It’s been reported that television personality Michael Lohan was taken into custody on February 21 for an alleged domestic violence incident. According to officials, the father of Lindsay Lohan was accused of stalking his separated partner, Kate Major, during a medical appointment. Furthermore, it is claimed that he physically assaulted Kate Major several days prior to this event.

Michael Lohan, a well-known personality from reality TV, was apprehended in Texas following an incident where his estranged wife, Kate Major, made an emergency call (911) during a doctor’s visit. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), Major noticed Lohan in the parking lot of the building and believed he was stalking her.

Following the arrival of officials, I learned from Major that he had forcefully thrown Lohan out of a chair in their home a few days prior. To add to this, the Sheriff’s Office mentioned that they observed signs of bruising on Major’s body, which were noticed by a female officer.

On the same day, authorities took Lohan into custody peacefully. Lohan has been accused of Continuous Family Violence and is currently detained with a $30,000 bond, as stated by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Previously in 2020, Michael Lohan faced an arrest over allegations of assault against Major. However, Lohan refuted these claims, stating to E! News, “I firmly assert that such an incident never took place.

2024 saw Major and Lohan becoming headlines due to a video that appeared online, showing Major shouting at Lohan. In this footage, it appears that Major was driving while Lohan seemed to be in front of the vehicle. Major’s estranged partner could be heard yelling at Lohan, exclaiming “Michael, get off the road! Look at these innocent kids. Oh my goodness, what a monster. He’s calling the cops, you idiot.

Lindsay Lohan informed TMZ that she had let Major reside at her house while she and her children were away. However, a district attorney instructed her to vacate the property by 5:00 p.m., as there was an order of protection against Major in effect. Contrarily, Major presented a different version of events. She asserted, “He’s chasing me, please. He jumped in front of my car. My children are in the car. I didn’t even get out of the driveway” (as reported by Page Six).

In October of 2014, Lohan and Major got married in a small ceremony held at Hillsboro Beach, Florida. However, according to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan and her brother Michael Lohan Jr., who starred in The Parent Trap, were not invited to the wedding.
