As a seasoned gamer of life’s endless series of shows, movies, and narratives, I find myself deeply invested in the digital tapestry that is Emily in Paris. Lily Collins’ recent remarks about the potential fifth season have stirred a whirlwind of emotions within me, much like how Emily herself is swept up by the windy city’s enchanting allure.
In a recent conversation on Vanity Fair’s Still Watching podcast, leading actress Lily Collins, known for her role in Emily in Paris, has raised questions about the possibility of a fifth season for the popular Netflix romantic comedy show, which was created by Darren Star.
As a dedicated fan, I can relate when I say that at the start of each season, none of us truly know the grand finale we’re aiming for, as the destination of the journey remains uncertain.
Collins, who portrays Emily Cooper in the show, shared some ideas about what she’d like to see if Netflix renews the series. She mentioned that she’d appreciate a shift of locations, possibly with her character visiting Tokyo. At present, there has been no official word on whether Emily in Paris will return for Season 5.
What could Emily in Paris Season 5 look like?
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled about Emily in Paris Season 4! Instead of a full-blown binge, it was divided into two parts, with the second half dropping on September 12. The first part wrapped up with some intriguing revelations, including clarifying that Camile is not pregnant after all. The love triangle between Emily, Gabriel, and Alfie continues to unfold, with Emily ultimately deciding to break up with Alfie. Yet, despite their separation, there’s still a palpable connection between them. As we eagerly await the remaining episodes arriving in September, it seems the narrative will need to deal with the repercussions of this season so far before potentially setting the stage for a potential fifth season – whether it starts anew or delves deeper into the ongoing storylines.
Apart from Collins, the ensemble of Emily in Paris also features Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Camille Razat, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, and William Abadie.
The TV series “Emily in Paris” is developed, scripted, and overseen by Darren Star. Additionally, Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns, Andrew Fleming, Alison Brown, Robin Schif serve as executive producers, while Stephen Brown, Grant Sloss, and Joe Murphy take on the role of co-executive producers. On the other hand, Ryan McCormick, Raphaël Benoliel, and Jake Fuller are in charge of production, with Collins producing. The series is jointly produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, Jax Media, and Darren Star Productions.
