Lilo & Stitch Clip Previews Tense Standoff in Live-Action Remake

A fresh video clip featuring the beloved duo, Lilo and Stitch, is out now. This time around, they find themselves in an intense standoff at Lilo’s sister’s job site.

What happens in the Lilo & Stitch clip?

In the latest scene, Lilo, Stitch, and Nani (Lilo’s sister) are shown entering Nani’s workplace. Trying to control Stitch, they place him in a baby carrier, but he quickly escapes, leading to mayhem. Eventually, Stitch ends up in a confrontation with Lilo while brandishing a water dispenser.

Lilo & Stitch’s live-action adaptation is set to premiere in theaters on May 23, 2025.

In the movie, Maia Kealoha takes on the role of Lilo, Sydney Agudong portrays Nani, Kaipo Dudoit acts as David, Tia Carrere stars as Mrs. Kekoa, Courtney B. Vance plays Cobra Bubbles, Amy Hill is cast as Tūtū, and Jason Scott Lee assumes the role of a luau supervisor. The voice acting crew includes Sanders as Stitch, Zach Galifianakis for Dr. Jumba, and Billy Magnussen as Agent Pleakley.

According to the summary, a modern take on the 2002 Disney animated film “Lilo & Stitch” presents a hilarious and heartwarming tale about a Hawaiian girl feeling lonely and an escaped extraterrestrial who plays a crucial role in healing her fractured family.

Chris Kekaniokalani Bright penned the script, but it was Sanders and DeBlois who wrote and supervised the screenplay for the initial 2002 film.
