These figures are somewhat lower than Box Office Pro’s predictions for its 4-day gross. Should any of these forecasts materialize, this remake would perform relatively well against recent Walt Disney releases and the original version.

To illustrate, the new Snow White film starring Rachel Zegler, a live-action adaptation, earned $42.2 million during its first weekend. In contrast, Mufasa: The Lion King collected $35.4 million on its opening weekend. Interestingly, the original 2002 movie gathered a total of $35.3 million.
