What do we know about Lilo & Stitch 2?

At present, specifics about the storyline for Lilo & Stitch 2 are being kept secret. Since the upcoming movie is a live-action sequel to the original 2002 animated film, there’s speculation that it could follow one of the animated sequels – either “Stitch! The Movie” from 2003 or “Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch” from 2005. However, this is merely conjecture as no official confirmation has been made yet.

It remains unclear whether Fleischer Camp will take up directorial duties for the sequel, or if any team members from the original film will be coming back. At this point, no release date for the upcoming movie has been announced.

In the 2025 Lilo & Stitch film, we’ll see Zach Galifianakis portraying Dr. Jumba Jookiba, Billy Magnussen taking on Agent Wendell Pleakley, Courtney B. Vance stepping into the role of Cobra Bubbles, Amy Hill as Tūtū, Tia Carrere as Mrs. Kekoa, Kaipo Dudoit as David Kawena, and Hannah Waddingham lending her voice to the Grand Councilwoman. The script is written by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright and Mike Van Waes, with Jonathan Eirich and Dan Lin serving as producers.

The film Lilo & Stitch has turned out to be a massive financial success, earning approximately $914.4 million worldwide at the box office. At this time, it ranks as the third highest-grossing movie of 2015, surpassed only by Netflix’s Zha 2 and A Minecraft Movie.

Lilo & Stitch is currently playing in United States theaters.
