Recently, Lil Pump shared on his social media platform (previously Twitter) an AI-created picture depicting him next to a tearful Selena Gomez. Accompanying the image, he wrote, “She’s crying for no reason, I’m just happy Trump is back,” which seems to be a jab at Gomez following her recent emotional video release.

A few days back, I shared a heartfelt video on my Instagram where I was visibly emotional, expressing my deep sorrow about not being able to aid those who are being deported. In the clip, I said, “I’m truly sorry. My people, the children, are under attack. I just don’t understand it. I’m so sorry, but I can’t help. I wish I could do something, but I’m powerless. I’ll exhaust every possible solution, I promise.

Following criticism of the video, she removed it and published a message saying, “It appears expressing empathy is not acceptable.” Although the singer did not explicitly reference Trump, it appeared she was displeased about the immigration raids that were taking place. These operations aimed to carry out the deportation policies outlined by the 47th U.S. President during his inaugural address.

Despite Lil Pump’s criticism towards Selena Gomez in the video, another rapper, Flavor Flav, voiced his support for the singer. In a tweet on X (formerly Twitter), Flav declared himself as part of Team Selena Gomez and praised her bravery for sharing the truth. He also mentioned that many people are quick to bully her.
