Azealia Banks lashed out with several critical remarks towards Lil Nas X on Twitter. The incident started when the artist behind ‘Icy Colors Change’ posted a comment on the social networking platform, which read:

In response to this, Lil Nas X retorted through a since-deleted tweet, asserting that he’s more successful than her and making fun of her appearance. The tweet went like this:

Even if Azealia couldn’t create another chart-topping song, her controversial lifestyle centered around soap selling, chicken sacrifice, and body modification wouldn’t even come close to touching a tenth of her past achievements. Despite that, I appreciate your music.

Eventually, banks retaliated to Lil Nas X’s jabs on Twitter by labeling him as a grown-up version of a “twee youth” and advising him to stay clear.
