Formerly known as a yakuza member, he’s now donned a pirate hat instead – a switch many people make! After waking up with no knowledge of his former life, Majima allies himself with a young lad named Noah to capture a pirate ship, traverse the Pacific ocean, and set sail on a voyage for hidden riches and honor.
The adventure in Hawaii with the Pirate Yakuza commenced in a setting reminiscent of earlier this year, during Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Players initially find themselves on Hawaiian beaches, a place they had grown accustomed to. Soon enough, a group of rough street thugs appeared, triggering the game’s action-RPG battle sequences. Here, the game introduces Majima’s unique dual fighting techniques.
Goro is equipped to fight using his dagger in the Mad Dog Style, a combat approach centered around combos and aerial attacks. Additionally, there’s a powerful charged attack that spawns several duplicates of him to assault foes. On the other hand, Majima can adapt to the Sea Dog Style, learned from his seafaring adventures. By pressing various keys, players can strike with an assortment of pirate-themed weapons. For instance, the Hand Cannon can penetrate numerous targets simultaneously and the Wire Hook can swiftly reel in Majima towards an enemy.

This includes caring for Majima’s pirate vessel and taking on other pirate crews in full-blown buccaneer brawls.
