Official trailer and plot of Level Cross

The narrative of Level Cross centers on the tale of Raghu, a man living a simple life as a caretaker of a railway crossing in a secluded area. However, his routine existence is turned upside down when he discovers an unconscious woman on his doorstep.

While assisting Chaithali’s recovery, Raghu uncovers the harrowing past of the woman he’s helping. It turns out she is Chaithali, a girl on the run from her abusive husband. In response, Raghu shares his own story, which involves being betrayed by his wife who went as far as killing his mother in marriage.

In what unfolds, there’s a blend of partially truthful statements and falsehoods between these two characters, equally guilty in their past. They find common ground through their mutual suffering. The film concludes without resolving all its plot points, leaving the audience pondering.
