As a long-time fan of Mansoor Ali Khan, I must say I am disheartened and disappointed by the recent turn of events in his son’s life. It seems that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, as they say. The actor himself has had a tumultuous career, often making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
In a recent development, Mansoor Ali Khan’s son, Ali Khan Tughlaq, has been taken into custody by the Tamil Nadu police in relation to an alleged drug trafficking incident. The actor’s son was grilled by authorities on December 3rd, and subsequently arrested on December 4th, 2024.
According to a report by IANS, it’s alleged that the actor’s son has been taken into custody due to suspected drug-related activities. Before this arrest, a total of 10 individuals were previously detained by the police for similar reasons.
According to recent findings, it’s been revealed that college students are among those being investigated for the crime. In addition to Tuglaq, four individuals – Seyad Saki, Mohammed Riyas Ali, Faisal Ahmed, and Tuglaq himself – have been taken into police custody. At present, the investigation into this matter is ongoing while they remain in police custody.
From hereon, it’s important to note that Mansoor Ali Khan’s name has surfaced in multiple controversies throughout his career. Frequently, he’s drawn controversy due to his bold remarks and comments made in public forums.
Previously, Mansoor Ali Khan made remarks that sparked controversy about actress Trisha Krishnan, prompting both fans and fellow celebrities to express their disapproval.
During an interview, the actor expressed, “These days, filmmakers aren’t casting me in villainous roles. They won’t allow me to play such part that involves scenes of violence or harm. Originally, I planned to discuss this matter at Leo’s success gathering; however, I held back because I feared it might stir up a debate.
The actor expressed great excitement upon learning he would act alongside Trisha Krishnan. He thoughtfully imagined there might be a bedroom scene. Just as he had previously acted forcefully with Kushboo and Roja, he believed he could do so with Trisha as well. Throughout his 150 films, he admitted to numerous instances of violence and sexual assault – yet he failed to recognize Trisha in the end.
Many people, including Trisha Krishnan herself, strongly criticized the offensive comments made by the actor. In response, she took legal action against him by filing a lawsuit for slander in the Madras High Court.
