As a passionate fan, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve gotten my hands on the official trailer for “Good Cop/Bad Cop,” the eagerly anticipated comedy-drama set to air on The CW. This series stars the brilliant Leighton Meester, who we all know from her days on Gossip Girl. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 19, 2025, as that’s when this exciting new show is set to premiere!
Meester has embarked on a new major solo television venture, following her stint in the sitcom “Single Parents” which concluded its two-season run in 2020. Apart from this new comedy series on The CW, she will also appear in the upcoming second season of “The Buccaneers,” streaming on Apple TV+.

What happens in the Good Cop/Bad Cop trailer?
The video begins by showcasing Meester as a police officer in a quaint town, finding himself teamed up with his younger brother Henry due to his dissatisfaction with working alongside new recruits. Additionally, it hints at the appearance of Meester’s real-life spouse, Adam Brody (known for The O.C.). Alongside Meester, the ensemble features Luke Cook as Henry Hickman, Clancy Brown as Hank Hickman, Devon Terrell as Shane Carson, Scott Lee as Joe Bradley, William McKenna as Sam Szczepkowksi, Shamita Siva as Sarika Ray, Blazey Best as Nadia Drozdoca, Grace Chow as Lily Lim, and other actors.
The show “Good Cop/Bad Cop” is developed and overseen by John Quaintance. Alongside him in the executive producer roles are Chloe Rickard, Jeff Wachtel, Phil Lloyd, and Trent O’Donnell, who also directed the pilot episode. The production of this series is a collaboration between Future Shack Entertainment, ITV Studios, and Jungle Entertainment.
The plot revolves around brothers Lou and Henry, an unusual duo working within a small Pacific Northwest law enforcement agency. Their days are filled with dealing with eccentric townsfolk, struggling with limited resources, and navigating their complex relationships – both personal and professional – with their police chief, Big Hank, who is also their father.
