Oh boy, where do I even begin? As a die-hard League of Legends fan with over a decade of gaming under my belt, I’ve seen it all – from epic comebacks to heartbreaking defeats. This year’s LCS final between Team Liquid and FlyQuest was one for the books!
One of the most historically prosperous video games, League of Legends, owes some of its success to its competitive spirit.
Additionally, this game boasts a thriving eSports environment, as Riot Games consistently invests massive sums in annual official tournaments. Notably, one of the largest leagues, the LCS, predominantly comprises teams hailing from Western territories.
This year’s LCS final saw a battle between Team Liquid and FlyQuest. And there was a lot on the line, with the winner guaranteed a spot at the world championship.
Insane Finale Ends Unexpectedly
The face off between Team Liquid and FlyQuest took the teams to game 4.
In the end, Team Liquid successfully clinched the decisive team battle, and then they swiftly charged towards the enemy stronghold with the intention of wrapping up the match as quickly as possible. They understood that time was running out, for the enemy’s minions were already marching toward their nexus.
In an astonishing finale, members of Team Liquid’s stronghold successfully sealed the deal, resulting in FlyQuest clinching the title for the very first time, a groundbreaking moment in LCS history.
