As a long-time fan of The Finals, I’m feeling quite disappointed and frustrated with the current state of the game. The release of update 3.4.0 brought excitement and anticipation for new content, but the delay in its availability on Xbox consoles has left many players, including me, hanging.
The Finals find themselves in a predicament at the moment. fans were elated by the announcement of update 3.4.0 due to its rich content, but unfortunately, it’s yet to be downloaded on Xbox. This delay has left Xbox users feeling frustrated, and that frustration is now spreading to PlayStation and PC gamers. Embark has announced the postponement of this week’s update, meaning the recently leaked new skin and weapon for The Finals will soon reappear in the store.
I’m a dedicated gamer, and this week I was looking forward to the new update for The Finals. But unfortunately, Embark had to push back the release of version 3.4.0 on Xbox consoles. They acknowledged the delay and expressed their apologies for the inconvenience. The update brought about numerous changes and confirmed the existence of the Emerald Rank. However, fans were disappointed that the CL-40’s fun factor was eliminated without any compensation. Moreover, there were no adjustments made to balance out the Light class.
Although the CL-40’s nerfs and no changes to the Light class were displeasing, the primary concern lies with the delayed approval of Update 3.4.0 on Xbox consoles. Consequently, this week’s scheduled update has been postponed, preventing players from accessing the newly leaked skin and weapon in the game’s store.

Although the scheduled release of this week’s updates was delayed, some of the above-mentioned items were accidentally made available in the contestant menu prior to being completely taken down. A few players were able to obtain these weapons and skins before they were removed, and they truly look impressive.

The Protocol Core outfit is visually striking and includes distinctive voice and motor effects. Additionally, the recurve bow is not only devastatingly effective but also stunningly beautiful to behold.
As a gamer, I’ve sadly come across the disappointment of not knowing exactly when the above items will be available in the game store again. Embark Oscar mentioned on Discord that the in-game timers have been adjusted to Friday for both the store and Pro Circuit. So, there’s a chance they might make their reappearance tomorrow. Alternatively, there’s a possibility that the update, including the return of these items, will be postponed until next week.
